I Will Go 02:45
oh yes, I will go on my own tomorrow I won’t waste another day I will show my sons and daughters I had something to say if it goes too fast I’ll hold the past for comfort while still embracing today (hey) if it starts to slow I’ll be sure to know there’s always some good on the way maybe it will hurt or feel like a burden but it has to be this way wear the ball and chain just like my father until I’m old and gray and if it goes too fast I’ll hold the past for comfort while still embracing today (hey) if it starts to slow I’ll be sure to know there’s always some good on the way

The Boss: that wrecking ball should’ve been here last week. Bill doesn’t want to do it clean? fine, we’ll go old school. I don’t mind getting dirty with a little dynamite. Laborer: alright, boss. I'll tell him. The Boss: guess what the wife packed me today, Jimmy? Jimmy: uh, what boss? The Boss: it’s hard to say… what does that look like to you? Jimmy: uh... The Boss: it looks like dog shit, Jimmy, and that’s a compliment compared to what it’s going to taste like. Jimmy: (laughs)

about

These songs were recorded in 2014-2015 for a film soundtrack but left unfinished when production on the film collapsed. In 2022-2023, I edited down the hour of material, finding a balance between its original intentions as a soundtrack and as a standalone group of songs.
